Hi I’m Steve Summers, I’m the founder and Co-Owner along with Tom Langford of Automotive Instincts, I opened the Northridge location in 1987. It was a very easy decision for me to choose the auto repair profession because I have loved working on cars my whole life.

When I started Automotive Instincts I wanted to have a shop that was known for fair prices, honesty, integrity and doing the right thing always, I wanted to treat people like I would want to be treated if I was on the other side of the counter, and it’s worked out we are known for award winning customer service.

When I am not working I am a devoted family man, I love spending time with my family, I also like going golfing and riding motorcycles.

Hi, I’m Edwin, I’m the service advisor for Automotive Instincts in Northridge, I will walk you through all the details pertaining to your vehicles service or repair, I follow up with our technicians through every step of your service to make sure the service is done in a timely manner.

I’ve been with Automotive Instincts for over 8 years, I love working with so many loyal customers, and working with Steve and Tom (the owners) has been a pleasure, they’ve created a great environment here, all my co-workers have been awesome, and I love my schedule, thanks Steve.

When I am not working I enjoy power walks, yeah I said it, I also love soccer, auto shows and spending time with my family and traveling.

Hi I’m Tom Langford, I’m Co-Owner of Automotive Instincts, I have been working in the Auto Repair industry since 1994. Steve and I opened our Woodland Hills Location in 1998. After many years as a technician and shop foreman at Honda dealerships I now enjoy the opportunity to provide a more personal brand of service to our customers which can extend 2-3 generations

In my free time I like to  modify my own cars, I also like to golf and I’m a huge L.A. sports fan, I love the Lakers, Dodgers and Finally the Rams have come home.

Hi I’m Jarrod, I started working in auto repair in 2006, but I’ve always been a gear head. I’ve been working at Automotive Instincts for 10 years now and enjoy how the owners take care of us employees. We get to close down the shop for a week every November and attend an automotive trade show in Las Vegas which is a blast! I love that we are able to get so many referrals from our loyal customers. Its a great feeling to provide customers with a great product and warranty for a competitive price. 

In my free time I enjoy watching basketball and football (excited to see the Los Angeles Rams back in town), I also enjoy brewing beer, camping, traveling, heading out to the beach and the gym.
